D6-15234

Nyatoh and meranti are the red browns most Malaysian houses were fitted out with, and D6-15234 sits in that family. The colour is merlot, a red brown that goes warm under a yellow bulb. Six random faces are enough for a formal hall or a prayer room, where furniture breaks up the floor in any case. The surface is satin plain, fully smooth, which mops fast but also shows footprints and dust on a dark ground, so it wants a house where shoes come off at the door. Each box holds 5 planks of 200 x 1000 mm, 1.00 m2 of coverage, 20 kg. Termites have no interest in glazed ceramic.

• Will D6-15234 swell in a humid climate?

No. D6-15234 is glazed ceramic with 6 to 8 percent water absorption, so humid months do not make it swell, cup or warp the way timber and laminate can.

• How many boxes of D6-15234 for a 3 x 3 m bedroom?

A 3 x 3 m room is 9 m². With 10 percent extra for cutting, that is 10 boxes, since each box of 5 planks (20 x 100 cm) covers 1.00 m² and weighs about 20 kg.

• Which rooms in a condo or landed house suit D6-15234?

D6-15234 works on floors and walls in bedrooms, living areas, hallways and home offices. It is rated for interior use.

• How do I clean D6-15234?

Sweep, then mop with a mild floor cleaner. The glazed satin textured face needs no oiling, sanding or polish.
