Deckwood Beige

Car porches take driven rain, engine heat and the weight of a car, and Deckwood Beige is rated for outdoor use. The colour is golden honey, close to chengal before it weathers silver, and the satin texture surface is lightly textured so it keeps grip when the floor is wet. One thing to plan around. This design has a single random face, which means every plank carries the same print. Set out the run and stagger the joints properly, or the repeat will be obvious. Boxes hold 5 planks at 200 x 1000 mm, 1.00 m2 of coverage, 20 kg. It also suits a covered walkway, a balcony or a patio.

• Will Deckwood Beige swell in a humid climate?

No. Deckwood Beige is glazed ceramic with 6 to 8 percent water absorption, so humid months do not make it swell, cup or warp the way timber and laminate can.

• How many boxes of Deckwood Beige for a 3 x 3 m bedroom?

A 3 x 3 m room is 9 m². With 10 percent extra for cutting, that is 10 boxes, since each box of 5 planks (20 x 100 cm) covers 1.00 m² and weighs about 20 kg.

• Can Deckwood Beige go on a balcony or porch?

Yes. Deckwood Beige is rated for outdoor use, so covered balconies, porches and walkways can have a wood deck look without the upkeep of real timber.

• How do I clean Deckwood Beige?

Sweep, then mop with a mild floor cleaner. The glazed satin textured face needs no oiling, sanding or polish.
