Deckwood Teak

Merbau is what most Malaysian decking is built out of, and merlot, a deep red brown, is the colour Deckwood Teak copies. It carries an outdoor rating, so a pool deck, a patio or an open balcony are all inside its range. The satin texture face is lightly textured and grips underfoot when wet, which is the whole point beside a pool. Only one random face exists in this design. Every plank prints alike, so a properly staggered layout matters more here than it would with a six face design. Planks measure 200 x 1000 mm, 5 to a box, 1.00 m2 covered, 20 kg. Merbau decking needs oiling every year. This does not.

• How do I clean Deckwood Teak?

  Sweep, then mop with a mild floor cleaner. The glazed satin textured face needs no oiling, sanding or polish.
