Oaklore Grigio

Oaklore Grigio reads like oak under a clear coat rather than a stain, a pale natural clear stain that keeps a small master bedroom or a guest room feeling larger than it is. The rustic texture carries deep grain, which is what stops a pale floor looking flat under daylight, and it gives grip without any polish to it. Six random faces are enough for a bedroom or a corridor run. Planks are 200 x 1000 mm, 5 to a box, 1.00 m2 of coverage at 20 kg. Pale floors show hair and dark grit sooner than mid browns, so plan on a quick sweep before mopping. The glazed ceramic body will not swell through the monsoon.

• Is Oaklore Grigio suitable for a humid home?

Yes. Oaklore Grigio is glazed ceramic with 6 to 8 percent water absorption, so humid months do not make it swell, cup or warp the way timber and laminate can.

• How many boxes of Oaklore Grigio for a 5 x 6 m living and dining area?

A 5 x 6 m room is 30 m². With 10 percent extra for cutting, that is 33 boxes, since each box of 5 planks (20 x 100 cm) covers 1.00 m² and weighs about 20 kg.

• Which rooms in a condo or landed house suit Oaklore Grigio?

Oaklore Grigio works on floors and walls in master bedrooms, living rooms, cafes and feature walls. It is rated for interior use.

• What upkeep does Oaklore Grigio need?

Sweep, then mop with a mild floor cleaner. The glazed satin textured face needs no oiling, sanding or polish.
