T1-465401

T1-465401 carries an outdoor rating, so it can go on a car porch, a covered walkway or a balcony that catches driven rain through the monsoon. Be clear about one thing first. It has a single random face, so every plank is printed the same, and mixing boxes changes nothing. Use it where the run is short and the repeat reads as deliberate, or break it up with a herringbone or brick pattern. The colour is a pale natural clear stain and the surface is a satin texture, lightly textured for footing when the floor is wet. Boxes hold 5 planks of 200 x 1000 mm, 1.00 m2 of coverage, 20 kg.

• Does T1-465401 cope with Malaysian humidity?

Yes. T1-465401 is glazed ceramic with 6 to 8 percent water absorption, so humid months do not make it swell, cup or warp the way timber and laminate can.

• How many boxes of T1-465401 for a 5 x 6 m living and dining area?

A 5 x 6 m room is 30 m². With 10 percent extra for cutting, that is 33 boxes, since each box of 5 planks (20 x 100 cm) covers 1.00 m² and weighs about 20 kg.

• Can T1-465401 go on a balcony or porch?

Yes. T1-465401 is rated for outdoor use, so covered balconies, porches and walkways can have a wood deck look without the upkeep of real timber.

• What upkeep does T1-465401 need?

Sweep, then mop with a mild floor cleaner. The glazed satin textured face needs no oiling, sanding or polish.
