T6-465406

Four random faces is a low count, and on an outdoor floor seen from the road it is worth the extra effort of opening every box, stacking the planks in one pile and laying from the pile. Done that way, T6-465406 covers the porch of a link house cleanly. The colour is a pale natural clear stain, bright at the entrance, and the surface is satin texture, a light relief that is still quick to hose and mop, with more grip underfoot than a smooth face gives. It is rated for outdoor use. Boxes hold 5 planks at 200 x 1000 mm, 1.00 m2, 20 kg.

• Will T6-465406 swell in a humid climate?

No. T6-465406 is glazed ceramic with 6 to 8 percent water absorption, so humid months do not make it swell, cup or warp the way timber and laminate can.

• How many boxes of T6-465406 for a 3 x 4 m bedroom?

A 3 x 4 m room is 12 m². With 10 percent extra for cutting, that is 14 boxes, since each box of 5 planks (20 x 100 cm) covers 1.00 m² and weighs about 20 kg.

• Can T6-465406 go on a balcony or porch?

Yes. T6-465406 is rated for outdoor use, so covered balconies, porches and walkways can have a wood deck look without the upkeep of real timber.

• What upkeep does T6-465406 need?

Sweep, then mop with a mild floor cleaner. The glazed satin textured face needs no oiling, sanding or polish.
