D12-25103

Air wells and back corridors in older terrace houses are dark, and a pale floor is the cheapest way to fix that. D12-25103 uses a natural clear stain colour close to whitewashed oak, and nine random faces, the most of any design in this size, so even a long corridor run shows no repeat. The satin plain face is smooth and mops in one pass. It does show dust, more so in a pale colour, and it has no grip advantage, so keep it to dry areas. Five planks fill a box at 200 x 1200 mm each, 1.20 m2 of floor, roughly 25 kg.

• Will D12-25103 swell in a humid climate?

No. D12-25103 is glazed ceramic with 6 to 8 percent water absorption, so humid months do not make it swell, cup or warp the way timber and laminate can.

• How many boxes of D12-25103 for a 3 x 3 m bedroom?

A 3 x 3 m room is 9 m². With 10 percent extra for cutting, that is 9 boxes, since each box of 5 planks (20 x 120 cm) covers 1.20 m² and weighs about 25 kg.

• Which rooms in a condo or landed house suit D12-25103?

D12-25103 works on floors and walls in bedrooms, living areas, hallways and home offices. It is rated for interior use.

• How do I clean D12-25103?

Sweep, then mop with a mild floor cleaner. The glazed satin textured face needs no oiling, sanding or polish.
