D12-25105

Some rooms want the floor to sit back and let the furniture speak. D12-25105 is tuscan coffee, a dark brown that does that in a study or a home office. Seven random faces keeps a mid sized room from repeating, and the satin plain surface is smooth, so a quick mop covers the whole room. Dark and smooth together means dust and footprints show, which is worth knowing before you commit. It is an indoor design with no grip advantage, so keep it upstairs and dry. Glazed ceramic at 9 to 9.5 mm will not cup the way a dark timber floor does here. Five planks per box, 200 x 1200 mm, 1.20 m2, 25 kg.

• Does D12-25105 cope with Malaysian humidity?

Yes. D12-25105 is glazed ceramic with 6 to 8 percent water absorption, so humid months do not make it swell, cup or warp the way timber and laminate can.

• How many boxes of D12-25105 for a 4 x 5 m living room?

A 4 x 5 m room is 20 m². With 10 percent extra for cutting, that is 19 boxes, since each box of 5 planks (20 x 120 cm) covers 1.20 m² and weighs about 25 kg.

• Which rooms in a condo or landed house suit D12-25105?
