NR-142010

Satin texture is the middle option in this range, lightly grained like sanded board, easier on bare feet than a smooth tile and still simple to clean. On NR-142010 it comes in cinnamon, a warm red brown in the nyatoh family. A service apartment let out to tenants is a fair test of it, since the texture takes scuffs without showing them and twelve random faces mean no repeat appears across a studio floor. The 200 x 1400 mm plank comes 4 to a box, 1.12 m2 per box, 24 kg, so a small unit needs few boxes.

• Does NR-142010 cope with Malaysian humidity?

Yes. NR-142010 is glazed ceramic with 6 to 8 percent water absorption, so humid months do not make it swell, cup or warp the way timber and laminate can.

• How many boxes of NR-142010 for a 3 x 3 m bedroom?

A 3 x 3 m room is 9 m². With 10 percent extra for cutting, that is 9 boxes, since each box of 4 planks (20 x 140 cm) covers 1.12 m² and weighs about 24 kg.

• Which rooms in a condo or landed house suit NR-142010?

NR-142010 works on floors and walls in bedrooms, living areas, hallways and home offices. It is rated for interior use.

• How do I clean NR-142010?

Sweep, then mop with a mild floor cleaner. The glazed satin textured face needs no oiling, sanding or polish.
