NR-142011

If a dark floor appeals but the upkeep does not, NR-142011 is the safer of the two coffee browns. Its tuscan coffee colour is the same deep brown, but the satin texture holds light differently from a smooth surface and does not throw every mark back at you. A study or home office with a desk and chair wheels is a sensible place for it. Twelve random faces cover a whole room without a repeat. Planks run 200 x 1400 mm at 4 per box, 1.12 m2 of coverage and 24 kg, and a long room takes fewer cuts at this length.

• Will NR-142011 swell in a humid climate?

No. NR-142011 is glazed ceramic with 6 to 8 percent water absorption, so humid months do not make it swell, cup or warp the way timber and laminate can.

• How many boxes of NR-142011 for a 3 x 4 m bedroom?

A 3 x 4 m room is 12 m². With 10 percent extra for cutting, that is 12 boxes, since each box of 4 planks (20 x 140 cm) covers 1.12 m² and weighs about 24 kg.

• Which rooms in a condo or landed house suit NR-142011?

NR-142011 works on floors and walls in living and dining areas, study rooms and corridors. It is rated for interior use.

• What upkeep does NR-142011 need?

Sweep, then mop with a mild floor cleaner. The glazed satin textured face needs no oiling, sanding or polish.
