Hannah Choco Base/Decor

Kitchens take more spills than any other room in the house, and a textured floor gives water and grease something to key into instead of turning slick. Hannah Choco Base/Decor is a mid nutmeg brown with a light satin texture, warm without going dark, and the decor tiles let you run a band under a bench or an island. Four random faces is the limitation. Open at least three cartons at once and shuffle the planks, otherwise the pattern will read across a kitchen floor. Planks are 150 x 900 mm, glazed ceramic 9 to 9.5 mm thick, 8 in a box covering 1.08 m2 at 22 kg.

• What does a carton of Hannah Choco Base/Decor cover?

Each carton holds 8 planks of 15 x 90 cm and covers 1.08 m², at about 22 kg. Hannah Choco Base/Decor is a timber look tile with a satin textured face.

• How many cartons of Hannah Choco Base/Decor for a 28 m² open plan kitchen and dining area?

• Can Hannah Choco Base/Decor go in an alfresco area?

No, Hannah Choco Base/Decor is rated for interior use. For a covered alfresco or verandah, choose one of Metro's designs rated for outdoor use.

• What grout joint should Hannah Choco Base/Decor be laid with?

Hannah Choco Base/Decor is a curve-edge plank rather than a rectified one, so lay it with a 3 to 5 mm joint. That spacing takes up the small natural variation along the plank and reads like the gap between real boards.
