G6-60602

A north facing living room takes hard sun for most of the day, and that is where a ceramic floor beats timber, because it will not fade unevenly or need recoating. G6-60602 is golden honey, near spotted gum, and the tone stays consistent under that light. Six random faces is enough for a normal sized room, but mix planks from three or four cartons as you go rather than laying box by box. The satin texture carries a light grain. Planks are 200 x 1000 mm and boxes hold five, covering 1.00 m2 and weighing 20 kg each, which one person can carry.

• How many square metres are in a carton of G6-60602?

Each carton holds 5 planks of 20 x 100 cm and covers 1.00 m², at about 20 kg. G6-60602 is a timber look tile with a satin textured face.

• How many cartons of G6-60602 for a 16 m² rumpus room?

Add 10 percent to 16 m² for cuts and breakage, which gives 17.6 m². At 1.00 m² a carton that is 18 cartons.

• Can G6-60602 go in an alfresco area?

No, G6-60602 is rated for interior use. For a covered alfresco or verandah, choose one of Metro's designs rated for outdoor use.

• What grout joint should G6-60602 be laid with?

G6-60602 is a curve-edge plank rather than a rectified one, so lay it with a 3 to 5 mm joint. That spacing takes up the small natural variation along the plank and reads like the gap between real boards.
