D19-20903

Warm chestnut on a deeply textured matt face is about as close as a tile gets to the feel of brushed hardwood underfoot, and D19-20903 is worth the comparison in a bedroom or a family room where people are barefoot. A textured surface reads warmer than a smooth glaze in the same colour. Five random faces suits a room rather than a whole house, so mix boxes if the run is long. Each plank is 200 x 1200 mm in glazed ceramic at 9 to 9.5 mm, and a box of 5 covers 1.20 m2 and weighs 25 kg.

• How is D19-20903 packed?

Each carton holds 5 planks of 20 x 120 cm and covers 1.20 m², at about 25 kg. D19-20903 is a timber look tile with a matte textured face.

• How many cartons of D19-20903 for a 16 m² rumpus room?

Add 10 percent to 16 m² for cuts and breakage, which gives 17.6 m². At 1.20 m² a carton that is 15 cartons.

• Can D19-20903 go in an alfresco area?

No, D19-20903 is rated for interior use. For a covered alfresco or verandah, choose one of Metro's designs rated for outdoor use.

• What grout joint should D19-20903 be laid with?

D19-20903 is a curve-edge plank rather than a rectified one, so lay it with a 3 to 5 mm joint. That spacing takes up the small natural variation along the plank and reads like the gap between real boards.
