Madera Teak

Brushbox has that warm chestnut colour sitting between golden and red, and Madera Teak reads the same way indoors. Five random faces is a middle count. It carries a hallway or a bedroom wing without an obvious pattern, though a very large open floor will start to repeat if you lay straight from one carton at a time. The deep rustic texture gives more grip underfoot in an entry that takes shoes off the verandah, and it hides everyday dust better than a smooth glaze does. Format is 200 x 1200 mm, glazed ceramic at 9 to 9.5 mm. Boxes hold 5 planks, cover 1.20 m2 and weigh 25 kg.

• What does a carton of Madera Teak cover?

Each carton holds 5 planks of 20 x 120 cm and covers 1.20 m², at about 25 kg. Madera Teak is a timber look tile with a matte textured face.

• How many cartons of Madera Teak for a 12 m² bedroom?

Add 10 percent to 12 m² for cuts and breakage, which gives 13.2 m². At 1.20 m² a carton that is 11 cartons.

• Can Madera Teak go in an alfresco area?

• Does Madera Teak suit hydronic underfloor heating?
