L6-1049

A condominium hall laid in golden honey reads warmer than the grey most new launch units arrive with, and the colour sits near young chengal before it silvers. The face is satin plain and smooth, which means one pass with a mop and no texture to trap kitchen grease. It also means dust and footprints show, so it belongs in the dry half of the home. Six random faces carry a hall and dining area without an obvious repeat. Each plank is 150 x 900 mm, boxed 8 pieces to 1.08 m2 at 22 kg, so a lift load is easy to manage.

• Will L6-1049 swell in a humid climate?

No. L6-1049 is glazed ceramic with 6 to 8 percent water absorption, so humid months do not make it swell, cup or warp the way timber and laminate can.

• How many boxes of L6-1049 for a 3 x 3 m bedroom?

A 3 x 3 m room is 9 m². With 10 percent extra for cutting, that is 10 boxes, since each box of 8 planks (15 x 90 cm) covers 1.08 m² and weighs about 22 kg.

• Which rooms in a condo or landed house suit L6-1049?

L6-1049 works on floors and walls in bedrooms, living areas, hallways and home offices. It is rated for interior use.

• How do I clean L6-1049?

Sweep, then mop with a mild floor cleaner. The glazed satin textured face needs no oiling, sanding or polish.
