Yes. Merrick Alumina is glazed ceramic with 6 to 8 percent water absorption, so humid months do not make it swell, cup or warp the way timber and laminate can.

Where Merrick Alumina works
Wet kitchen floors take standing water, oil and a hard scrub most days, and rustic texture gives more grip underfoot there than a smooth face. Merrick Alumina is a warm chestnut, a nyatoh sort of red brown that does not look cold next to stainless steel. Only five random faces are printed, so open three or four boxes and mix the planks before laying, otherwise the repeat becomes visible along a long run. The deep texture grips underfoot when the floor is wet and takes no glare from a window. Planks are 150 x 900 mm. Eight pieces fill a box, covering 1.08 m2 at 22 kg.
