Yes. NRC-402 is glazed ceramic with 6 to 8 percent water absorption, so humid months do not make it swell, cup or warp the way timber and laminate can.

NRC-402 on stairs and landings
Stair treads and the first storey landing are where a floor gets looked at closely, and warm chestnut with six random faces gives enough variation that adjacent treads do not mirror each other. At 150 x 900 mm the plank cuts down to tread width with little waste. The satin texture matters more here than anywhere else in the house, since a light grain underfoot is safer on stairs than a smooth glaze. Glazed ceramic at 9 to 9.5 mm sits on a screed without fuss. Each box has 8 planks, covers 1.08 m2 and weighs 22 kg. The colour reads close to the nyatoh handrails already in most older houses.
