NRC-402

Hardwood flooring costs more per square metre than most new build budgets allow once sanding and coating are added. Warm chestnut in glazed ceramic gets close to the brushbox tone for less, and it never needs recoating. Six random faces carry a hallway and bedrooms without an obvious pattern forming. The satin texture has a light grain that reads as sanded board. Planks come in at 150 x 900 mm, 9 to 9.5 mm thick, 8 per box, 1.08 m2 covered, 22 kg per box. Rated indoor. Order about ten percent over your measured area to allow for cuts and waste.

• How is NRC-402 packed?

  Each carton holds 8 planks of 15 x 90 cm and covers 1.08 m², at about 22 kg. NRC-402 is a timber look tile with a satin textured face.

• How many cartons of NRC-402 for a 12 m² bedroom?

  Add 10 percent to 12 m² for cuts and breakage, which gives 13.2 m². At 1.08 m² a carton that is 13 cartons.

• Can NRC-402 go in an alfresco area?

  No, NRC-402 is rated for interior use. For a covered alfresco or verandah, choose one of Metro's designs rated for outdoor use.

• Does NRC-402 suit hydronic underfloor heating?

  Yes. As a glazed ceramic plank it will not gap or cup as the slab warms, and unlike engineered timber it has no 27°C surface limit.
