D26-27551

Four random faces is a low count, so plan for it. D26-27551 needs several boxes opened and the planks shuffled before laying, otherwise the same face turns up twice in a row and the floor stops looking like timber. Do that and it works well. The grey colour is the shade weathered chengal turns, and it suits a dry kitchen done in white and steel. The deep matt texture gives good grip and no glare under downlights, and it hides dust between cleans. It is rated for indoor use. Five planks make a box at 200 x 1200 mm, 1.20 m2, about 25 kg.

• Is D26-27551 suitable for a humid home?

Yes. D26-27551 is glazed ceramic with 6 to 8 percent water absorption, so humid months do not make it swell, cup or warp the way timber and laminate can.

• How many boxes of D26-27551 for a 3 x 4 m bedroom?

A 3 x 4 m room is 12 m². With 10 percent extra for cutting, that is 11 boxes, since each box of 5 planks (20 x 120 cm) covers 1.20 m² and weighs about 25 kg.

• Which rooms in a condo or landed house suit D26-27551?

D26-27551 works on floors and walls in living and dining areas, study rooms and corridors. It is rated for interior use.

• What upkeep does D26-27551 need?

Sweep, then mop with a mild floor cleaner. The glazed satin textured face needs no oiling, sanding or polish.
