D26-27551

D26-27551 opens the D26 series, a grey on a deeply textured matt face. Four random faces is the lowest count in that series, which makes it a tile for a defined area rather than a whole house: an ensuite, a laundry, a study. In those rooms the run is short enough that the repeat never announces itself, and the matt texture gives grip where water gets on the floor. Grey works with white fittings, black tapware and timber joinery. Planks are 200 x 1200 mm in glazed ceramic at 9 to 9.5 mm, 5 per box, 1.20 m2 and 25 kg.

• How is D26-27551 packed?

Each carton holds 5 planks of 20 x 120 cm and covers 1.20 m², at about 25 kg. D26-27551 is a timber look tile with a matte textured face.

• How many cartons of D26-27551 for a 16 m² rumpus room?

Add 10 percent to 16 m² for cuts and breakage, which gives 17.6 m². At 1.20 m² a carton that is 15 cartons.

• Can D26-27551 go in an alfresco area?

No, D26-27551 is rated for interior use. For a covered alfresco or verandah, choose one of Metro's designs rated for outdoor use.

• What grout joint should D26-27551 be laid with?

D26-27551 is a curve-edge plank rather than a rectified one, so lay it with a 3 to 5 mm joint. That spacing takes up the small natural variation along the plank and reads like the gap between real boards.
