NR-142007

Dark and smooth is a demanding combination. NR-142007 is tuscan coffee, a deep brown near merbau, on a satin plain surface that shows dust, footprints and pet hair between cleans, so it belongs in an air conditioned master bedroom rather than a busy hall. In return it mops in one pass and looks close to a stained hardwood floor without any of the swelling or termite trouble that solid timber gives in this climate. Eleven random faces stop the grain repeating across a large bedroom. Boxes contain 4 planks of 200 x 1400 mm, covering 1.12 m2 at 24 kg.

• Does NR-142007 cope with Malaysian humidity?

Yes. NR-142007 is glazed ceramic with 6 to 8 percent water absorption, so humid months do not make it swell, cup or warp the way timber and laminate can.

• How many boxes of NR-142007 for a 3 x 3 m bedroom?

A 3 x 3 m room is 9 m². With 10 percent extra for cutting, that is 9 boxes, since each box of 4 planks (20 x 140 cm) covers 1.12 m² and weighs about 24 kg.

• Which rooms in a condo or landed house suit NR-142007?

NR-142007 works on floors and walls in bedrooms, living areas, hallways and home offices. It is rated for interior use.

• How do I clean NR-142007?

Sweep, then mop with a mild floor cleaner. The glazed satin textured face needs no oiling, sanding or polish.
