NR-142007

NR-142007 is a dark coffee brown on a smooth satin face with eleven random faces per design. Planks are 8 x 56 inches in glazed ceramic at 9 to 9.5 mm, a carton of 4 covering 12.05 sq ft at 24 kg. A dark floor needs daylight and pale walls to work, and given those it gives a large room the weight a mid brown cannot. Eleven faces means the darkness never resolves into a visible pattern. The smooth glaze cleans easily but shows dust more readily than a matte face would, so this is a tile for living and dining rooms rather than an entry.

• How many square feet does a box of NR-142007 cover?

NR-142007 comes in 8 x 56 inch planks, 4 to a box. One box covers 12.05 sq ft and weighs about 53 lb.

• How many boxes of NR-142007 do I need for a 10 x 12 ft bedroom?

A 10 x 12 ft room is 120 sq ft. With 10 percent added for cuts and breakage that is 132 sq ft, or 11 boxes at 12.05 sq ft each.

• Can NR-142007 go over radiant floor heating?

Yes. It is a glazed ceramic plank 9 to 9.5 mm thick, so it does not gap, cup or split as the floor warms, and it has no 80°F (27°C) surface limit the way engineered wood does.

• What grout joint does NR-142007 need?

NR-142007 is a curve-edge plank, not rectified, so plan on a joint of 3 to 5 mm, about 1/8 to 3/16 inch. The wider joint gives each board its own line, the way real planks sit.
