Oaklore Wallnut takes the dark red-brown color and puts it on a glazed tile, so there is nothing to sand or refinish. You give up the warmth and the slight give of real wood, and that matters to some people. What you get is a herringbone in deep color with Rustic Texture grain, 48 random faces per design and a curve edge. It looks strongest with brass, cream walls and a lighter rug.
