Hannah Gris Base/Decor

Hannah Gris is the gray in the Hannah line, a neutral mid gray with visible grain on a satin textured face. Base and decor are matched in tone so a bath floor and its shower wall read as one material. Four random faces per design, 6 x 36 inch planks, glazed ceramic at 9 to 9.5 mm, 11.62 sq ft and 22 kg per carton of 8. Gray wood look tile is the default choice for baths, offices and rental units because it works with any furniture and does not date. With white cabinetry it reads crisp and modern; with oak and linen it warms up and reads closer to Scandinavian.

• How many square feet does a box of Hannah Gris Base/Decor cover?

Hannah Gris Base/Decor comes in 6 x 36 inch planks, 8 to a box. One box covers 11.62 sq ft and weighs about 49 lb.

• How many boxes of Hannah Gris Base/Decor do I need for a 12 x 15 ft family room?

A 12 x 15 ft room is 180 sq ft. With 10 percent added for cuts and breakage that is 198 sq ft, or 18 boxes at 11.62 sq ft each.

• Can Hannah Gris Base/Decor go over radiant floor heating?

Yes. It is a glazed ceramic plank 9 to 9.5 mm thick, so it does not gap, cup or split as the floor warms, and it has no 80°F (27°C) surface limit the way engineered wood does.

• What grout joint does Hannah Gris Base/Decor need?

Hannah Gris Base/Decor is a curve-edge plank, not rectified, so plan on a joint of 3 to 5 mm, about 1/8 to 3/16 inch. The wider joint gives each board its own line, the way real planks sit.
