L6-1050

L6-1050 is the lightest tile in the L6 line, a natural timber tone close to sanded ash on a smooth satin face. The grain is printed quietly, so the floor does not compete with rugs or patterned furniture. Six random faces per design, 6 x 36 inch planks in glazed ceramic at 9 to 9.5 mm, 8 to a carton for 11.62 sq ft and 22 kg. A very pale wood look tile makes small apartments and windowless baths read larger. L6-1050 belongs in a Scandinavian scheme with white, light wood and gray, and it is a calm choice on a bathroom wall as well as a floor.

• What comes in a box of L6-1050?

L6-1050 comes in 6 x 36 inch planks, 8 to a box. One box covers 11.62 sq ft and weighs about 49 lb.

• How many boxes of L6-1050 do I need for a 12 x 15 ft family room?

A 12 x 15 ft room is 180 sq ft. With 10 percent added for cuts and breakage that is 198 sq ft, or 18 boxes at 11.62 sq ft each.

• Can L6-1050 go over radiant floor heating?

Yes. It is a glazed ceramic plank 9 to 9.5 mm thick, so it does not gap, cup or split as the floor warms, and it has no 80°F (27°C) surface limit the way engineered wood does.

• What grout joint does L6-1050 need?

L6-1050 is a curve-edge plank, not rectified, so plan on a joint of 3 to 5 mm, about 1/8 to 3/16 inch. The wider joint gives each board its own line, the way real planks sit.
