NRC-109

NRC-109 is a white wood look tile with six random faces, which matters because a white floor shows a repeating pattern faster than any other color. The face is smooth satin, easy to wipe, which is the other thing white floors demand. Planks are 6 x 36 inches in glazed ceramic at 9 to 9.5 mm, 8 per carton for 11.62 sq ft and 22 kg. White floors return daylight and make a windowless bath or a studio apartment read bigger. NRC-109 is the base layer for a Scandinavian room with light wood and gray, and it carries a herringbone in a bedroom well.

• What comes in a box of NRC-109?

NRC-109 comes in 6 x 36 inch planks, 8 to a box. One box covers 11.62 sq ft and weighs about 49 lb.

• How many boxes of NRC-109 do I need for a 12 x 14 ft living room?

A 12 x 14 ft room is 168 sq ft. With 10 percent added for cuts and breakage that is 185 sq ft, or 16 boxes at 11.62 sq ft each.

• Can NRC-109 go over radiant floor heating?

Yes. It is a glazed ceramic plank 9 to 9.5 mm thick, so it does not gap, cup or split as the floor warms, and it has no 80°F (27°C) surface limit the way engineered wood does.

• Is NRC-109 a good choice for a bathroom floor?

NRC-109 has a smooth satin face, which suits dry rooms best. For a bathroom floor, pick a design with the Matt Texture finish, which gives more grip underfoot.
