NRC-112

NRC-112 is a satin wood look tile in a muted mid brown with a smooth face and a low sheen. Six random faces per design, 6 x 36 inch planks in glazed ceramic at 9 to 9.5 mm, a carton of 8 covering 11.62 sq ft at 22 kg. The smooth satin face wipes clean fast rather than holding dirt, which is why it suits bedrooms, living rooms and dry hallways. The muted tone steps back and lets furniture and artwork lead, an advantage in a living room that already has a lot in it. Against white and beige with wood furniture it reads warm; against black and concrete it reads plainer.

• What comes in a box of NRC-112?

NRC-112 comes in 6 x 36 inch planks, 8 to a box. One box covers 11.62 sq ft and weighs about 49 lb.

• How many boxes of NRC-112 do I need for a 12 x 14 ft living room?

A 12 x 14 ft room is 168 sq ft. With 10 percent added for cuts and breakage that is 185 sq ft, or 16 boxes at 11.62 sq ft each.

• Can NRC-112 go over radiant floor heating?

Yes. It is a glazed ceramic plank 9 to 9.5 mm thick, so it does not gap, cup or split as the floor warms, and it has no 80°F (27°C) surface limit the way engineered wood does.

• Is NRC-112 a good choice for a bathroom floor?

Yes. Its smooth satin face is the easiest of Metro's finishes to wipe down, the one to pick for bedrooms, living rooms and dry hallways.
