NRC-401

NRC-401 is a warm cinnamon on a satin textured face with six random faces per design. Planks are 6 x 36 inches in glazed ceramic at 9 to 9.5 mm, 8 to a carton for 11.62 sq ft and 22 kg. This one is aimed at hallways, stairwells and entries, the places that take the most feet each day: the glaze resists scratching, the texture holds grip, and the mid tone does not telegraph dirt. Cinnamon wood look tile works against white walls, wood doors and black railings. The same tile can carry onto stair treads and risers so the stair and the hall read as one surface.

• How many square feet does a box of NRC-401 cover?

NRC-401 comes in 6 x 36 inch planks, 8 to a box. One box covers 11.62 sq ft and weighs about 49 lb.

• How many boxes of NRC-401 do I need for a 14 x 16 ft great room?

A 14 x 16 ft room is 224 sq ft. With 10 percent added for cuts and breakage that is 246 sq ft, or 22 boxes at 11.62 sq ft each.

• Can NRC-401 go over radiant floor heating?

Yes. It is a glazed ceramic plank 9 to 9.5 mm thick, so it does not gap, cup or split as the floor warms, and it has no 80°F (27°C) surface limit the way engineered wood does.

• Is NRC-401 a good choice for a bathroom floor?

NRC-401 has a satin textured face, which suits dry rooms best. For a bathroom floor, pick a design with the Matt Texture finish, which gives more grip underfoot.
