NRC-404

NRC-404 is a white wood look tile whose grain is drawn more clearly than NRC-403, on a satin face with real relief. Six random faces per design, 6 x 36 inch planks in glazed ceramic at 9 to 9.5 mm, a carton of 8 covering 11.62 sq ft at 22 kg. The stronger grain gives the white field depth, which reads better across a large living room than a flatter white does. White wood look tile goes with light wood, gray, black and plants. In a bath NRC-404 can run floor and wall together, and the textured face is sound underfoot in a shower.

• How many square feet does a box of NRC-404 cover?

NRC-404 comes in 6 x 36 inch planks, 8 to a box. One box covers 11.62 sq ft and weighs about 49 lb.

• How many boxes of NRC-404 do I need for a 12 x 15 ft family room?

A 12 x 15 ft room is 180 sq ft. With 10 percent added for cuts and breakage that is 198 sq ft, or 18 boxes at 11.62 sq ft each.

• Can NRC-404 go over radiant floor heating?

Yes. It is a glazed ceramic plank 9 to 9.5 mm thick, so it does not gap, cup or split as the floor warms, and it has no 80°F (27°C) surface limit the way engineered wood does.

• What grout joint does NRC-404 need?

NRC-404 is a curve-edge plank, not rectified, so plan on a joint of 3 to 5 mm, about 1/8 to 3/16 inch. The wider joint gives each board its own line, the way real planks sit.
