Oaklore Grigio

Oaklore Grigio carries the light gray brown of weathered, untreated timber with a rustic, textured grain. Six random faces per design, 6 x 36 inch planks in glazed ceramic at 9 to 9.5 mm, 8 to a carton for 11.62 sq ft and 22 kg. The rustic texture gives the floor grip underfoot and returns no glare, which makes it a sound choice for baths, kitchens and entries. Light gray wood look tile reads warmer than a flat gray because the brown in it keeps some heat. Against white walls and light oak it lands Nordic; against black and concrete it reads plainer and more utilitarian.

• How is Oaklore Grigio sold?

• How many boxes of Oaklore Grigio do I need for a 12 x 14 ft living room?

A 12 x 14 ft room is 168 sq ft. With 10 percent added for cuts and breakage that is 185 sq ft, or 16 boxes at 11.62 sq ft each.

• Can Oaklore Grigio go over radiant floor heating?

Yes. It is a glazed ceramic plank 9 to 9.5 mm thick, so it does not gap, cup or split as the floor warms, and it has no 80°F (27°C) surface limit the way engineered wood does.

• Is Oaklore Grigio a good choice for a bathroom floor?

Yes. Its smooth satin face is the easiest of Metro's finishes to wipe down, the one to pick for bedrooms, living rooms and dry hallways.
