D6-15238

D6-15238 is a dark coffee brown on a smooth satin face with five random faces per design. Planks are 8 x 40 inches in glazed ceramic at 9 to 9.5 mm, 5 to a carton for 10.76 sq ft and 20 kg. A dark wood look tile needs daylight and pale walls; with those it gives a room a base without closing it in. The smooth glaze shows dust a little sooner than a matte one but wipes off fast, which suits hotel rooms and restaurants. The tone sits with white, sand, brass and dark leather. Run up a wall behind a bed or a bar, it reads as paneling with no upkeep.

• What comes in a box of D6-15238?

D6-15238 comes in 8 x 40 inch planks, 5 to a box. One box covers 10.76 sq ft and weighs about 44 lb.

• How many boxes of D6-15238 do I need for a 10 x 12 ft bedroom?

A 10 x 12 ft room is 120 sq ft. With 10 percent added for cuts and breakage that is 132 sq ft, or 13 boxes at 10.76 sq ft each.

• Can D6-15238 go over radiant floor heating?

Yes. It is a glazed ceramic plank 9 to 9.5 mm thick, so it does not gap, cup or split as the floor warms, and it has no 80°F (27°C) surface limit the way engineered wood does.

• What grout joint does D6-15238 need?

D6-15238 is a curve-edge plank, not rectified, so plan on a joint of 3 to 5 mm, about 1/8 to 3/16 inch. The wider joint gives each board its own line, the way real planks sit.
