D6-15249

D6-15249 carries a cinnamon on a smooth satin face with five random faces per design. Planks are 8 x 40 inches in glazed ceramic at 9 to 9.5 mm, 5 to a carton for 10.76 sq ft and 20 kg. The grain is drawn more quietly than on D6-15235, which gives a steadier field across a shop or a clinic floor. The warm tone works with white, beige, sage and black detailing and takes the chill off a cold room. A smooth glazed wood look tile is the sensible pick in a kitchen, since nothing settles into a texture. D6-15249 can run from a living room into a kitchen without a break.

• How is D6-15249 sold?

D6-15249 comes in 8 x 40 inch planks, 5 to a box. One box covers 10.76 sq ft and weighs about 44 lb.

• How many boxes of D6-15249 do I need for a 10 x 12 ft bedroom?

A 10 x 12 ft room is 120 sq ft. With 10 percent added for cuts and breakage that is 132 sq ft, or 13 boxes at 10.76 sq ft each.

• Can D6-15249 go over radiant floor heating?

Yes. It is a glazed ceramic plank 9 to 9.5 mm thick, so it does not gap, cup or split as the floor warms, and it has no 80°F (27°C) surface limit the way engineered wood does.

• What grout joint does D6-15249 need?

D6-15249 is a curve-edge plank, not rectified, so plan on a joint of 3 to 5 mm, about 1/8 to 3/16 inch. The wider joint gives each board its own line, the way real planks sit.
