D6-15256

D6-15256 is a nutmeg brown in the D6 line, a smooth satin face with a low sheen and no grain relief underfoot. Five random faces per design, 8 x 40 inch planks in glazed ceramic at 9 to 9.5 mm, a carton of 5 covering 10.76 sq ft at 20 kg. The fast clean up is the reason to specify it for a bedroom, a living room or a dry hallway. A matte wood look tile reads more like real board than a flat print and forgives scratches. Mid brown hides dust and works with white, beige and oak. It can run from the bath through to the hall in one surface.

• How many square feet does a box of D6-15256 cover?

D6-15256 comes in 8 x 40 inch planks, 5 to a box. One box covers 10.76 sq ft and weighs about 44 lb.

• How many boxes of D6-15256 do I need for a 10 x 12 ft bedroom?

A 10 x 12 ft room is 120 sq ft. With 10 percent added for cuts and breakage that is 132 sq ft, or 13 boxes at 10.76 sq ft each.

• Can D6-15256 go over radiant floor heating?

Yes. It is a glazed ceramic plank 9 to 9.5 mm thick, so it does not gap, cup or split as the floor warms, and it has no 80°F (27°C) surface limit the way engineered wood does.

• What grout joint does D6-15256 need?

D6-15256 is a curve-edge plank, not rectified, so plan on a joint of 3 to 5 mm, about 1/8 to 3/16 inch. The wider joint gives each board its own line, the way real planks sit.
