D6-15261

D6-15261 is a nutmeg brown on a smooth satin face with five random faces per design. Planks are 8 x 40 inches in glazed ceramic at 9 to 9.5 mm, 5 per carton for 10.76 sq ft and 20 kg. Mid brown is the easiest wood tone to keep looking clean and the smooth glaze mops in seconds, which together make this a low risk floor for rental units, hotel rooms and offices. It goes with cream walls, brass and deep green upholstery. If the same color is wanted with a surface you can feel underfoot, D6-15256 is the matte version.

• How is D6-15261 sold?

D6-15261 comes in 8 x 40 inch planks, 5 to a box. One box covers 10.76 sq ft and weighs about 44 lb.

• How many boxes of D6-15261 do I need for a 12 x 15 ft family room?

A 12 x 15 ft room is 180 sq ft. With 10 percent added for cuts and breakage that is 198 sq ft, or 19 boxes at 10.76 sq ft each.

• Can D6-15261 go over radiant floor heating?

Yes. It is a glazed ceramic plank 9 to 9.5 mm thick, so it does not gap, cup or split as the floor warms, and it has no 80°F (27°C) surface limit the way engineered wood does.

• What grout joint does D6-15261 need?

D6-15261 is a curve-edge plank, not rectified, so plan on a joint of 3 to 5 mm, about 1/8 to 3/16 inch. The wider joint gives each board its own line, the way real planks sit.
