G6-60601

G6-60601 is a warm chestnut on a satin face with grain slightly raised. Eight random faces per design, 8 x 40 inch planks in glazed ceramic at 9 to 9.5 mm, 5 per carton for 10.76 sq ft and 20 kg. The wide plank with eight faces suits an open kitchen where one tile runs from the range through to the sofa without a break. The raised grain gives the tile something of a real board underfoot and enough grip for a bathroom. Chestnut is the safe middle of the wood look range: light enough for a smaller room, dark enough to forgive dust, and it works with oak, white and black alike.

• How many square feet does a box of G6-60601 cover?

G6-60601 comes in 8 x 40 inch planks, 5 to a box. One box covers 10.76 sq ft and weighs about 44 lb.

• How many boxes of G6-60601 do I need for a 12 x 15 ft family room?

A 12 x 15 ft room is 180 sq ft. With 10 percent added for cuts and breakage that is 198 sq ft, or 19 boxes at 10.76 sq ft each.

• Can G6-60601 go over radiant floor heating?

Yes. It is a glazed ceramic plank 9 to 9.5 mm thick, so it does not gap, cup or split as the floor warms, and it has no 80°F (27°C) surface limit the way engineered wood does.

• What grout joint does G6-60601 need?

G6-60601 is a curve-edge plank, not rectified, so plan on a joint of 3 to 5 mm, about 1/8 to 3/16 inch. The wider joint gives each board its own line, the way real planks sit.
