N9-615352

N9-615352 is a reddish merlot on a satin face where the grain sits in light relief. Five random faces per design, 8 x 40 inch planks in glazed ceramic at 9 to 9.5 mm, a carton of 5 covering 10.76 sq ft at 20 kg. The raised grain gives the tile a bit of real board underfoot, which is a fair reason to use it in a bedroom or living room rather than a smoother glaze. Red brown floors read traditional and work with dark wood, cream walls and brass. In a wine bar or a restaurant the depth of color absorbs the daily wear a lighter floor would show.

• What comes in a box of N9-615352?

N9-615352 comes in 8 x 40 inch planks, 5 to a box. One box covers 10.76 sq ft and weighs about 44 lb.

• How many boxes of N9-615352 do I need for a 12 x 15 ft family room?

A 12 x 15 ft room is 180 sq ft. With 10 percent added for cuts and breakage that is 198 sq ft, or 19 boxes at 10.76 sq ft each.

• Can N9-615352 go over radiant floor heating?

Yes. It is a glazed ceramic plank 9 to 9.5 mm thick, so it does not gap, cup or split as the floor warms, and it has no 80°F (27°C) surface limit the way engineered wood does.

• What grout joint does N9-615352 need?

N9-615352 is a curve-edge plank, not rectified, so plan on a joint of 3 to 5 mm, about 1/8 to 3/16 inch. The wider joint gives each board its own line, the way real planks sit.
