S6-17121

S6-17121 is a nutmeg brown on a smooth satin face with five random faces per design. Planks are 8 x 40 inches in glazed ceramic at 9 to 9.5 mm, a carton of 5 covering 10.76 sq ft at 20 kg. Nutmeg is the most forgiving wood tone to keep clean, and a smooth glaze is the quickest to mop, which together make this a sensible specification for rental units, hotel rooms and offices where nobody is going to baby the floor. It works with cream walls, brass and deep green upholstery. For a larger space that needs more variation in the same color, S6-17122 carries eight faces.

• What comes in a box of S6-17121?

S6-17121 comes in 8 x 40 inch planks, 5 to a box. One box covers 10.76 sq ft and weighs about 44 lb.

• How many boxes of S6-17121 do I need for a 10 x 12 ft bedroom?

A 10 x 12 ft room is 120 sq ft. With 10 percent added for cuts and breakage that is 132 sq ft, or 13 boxes at 10.76 sq ft each.

• Can S6-17121 go over radiant floor heating?

Yes. It is a glazed ceramic plank 9 to 9.5 mm thick, so it does not gap, cup or split as the floor warms, and it has no 80°F (27°C) surface limit the way engineered wood does.

• What grout joint does S6-17121 need?

S6-17121 is a curve-edge plank, not rectified, so plan on a joint of 3 to 5 mm, about 1/8 to 3/16 inch. The wider joint gives each board its own line, the way real planks sit.
