D26-27554

D26-27554 is one of the greys in the D26 line, a mid gray with matte textured grain and five random faces per design. Planks are 8 x 48 inches in glazed ceramic at 9 to 9.5 mm, 5 to a carton for 12.91 sq ft and 25 kg. This is the one to specify when a bathroom floor and its shower surround should read as a single material: the matte texture grips on a shower floor, and a 48 inch plank run up the wall makes a small bathroom feel taller. Gray wood look tile works with white fixtures, black faucets and wood vanities, and the grain keeps enough warmth that the room does not feel cold.

• How many square feet does a box of D26-27554 cover?

D26-27554 comes in 8 x 48 inch planks, 5 to a box. One box covers 12.91 sq ft and weighs about 55 lb.

• How many boxes of D26-27554 do I need for a 10 x 12 ft bedroom?

A 10 x 12 ft room is 120 sq ft. With 10 percent added for cuts and breakage that is 132 sq ft, or 11 boxes at 12.91 sq ft each.

• Can D26-27554 go over radiant floor heating?

Yes. It is a glazed ceramic plank 9 to 9.5 mm thick, so it does not gap, cup or split as the floor warms, and it has no 80°F (27°C) surface limit the way engineered wood does.

• What grout joint does D26-27554 need?

D26-27554 is a curve-edge plank, not rectified, so plan on a joint of 3 to 5 mm, about 1/8 to 3/16 inch. The wider joint gives each board its own line, the way real planks sit.
