Pale natural clear stain reads much like blackbutt or Tasmanian oak, so it lifts a room without going stark white. Six random faces keep a wide open plan floor from falling into an obvious pattern, though it is still worth laying from two or three cartons at a time. The satin texture has a light grain you can feel underfoot and it wipes clean easily. Each plank is 150 x 900 mm in glazed ceramic, 9 to 9.5 mm thick, and a box holds 8 planks covering 1.08 m2 at 22 kg. Rated for indoor use. Under hard afternoon sun it stays cooler than a timber floor.
