NRC-302

NRC-302 carries the pale tone of untreated timber, close to sanded ash, on a satin face with raised grain. Six random faces per design, 6 x 36 inch planks in glazed ceramic at 9 to 9.5 mm, a carton of 8 covering 11.62 sq ft at 22 kg. A textured light wood look tile reads more like real board than a flat pale print, because light catches in the grain rather than sitting on the surface. NRC-302 belongs in a Scandinavian scheme with white, gray and light wood, and it makes small rooms read larger. In a bath the texture suits the floor; in a living room it lives happily under rugs.

• What comes in a box of NRC-302?

NRC-302 comes in 6 x 36 inch planks, 8 to a box. One box covers 11.62 sq ft and weighs about 49 lb.

• How many boxes of NRC-302 do I need for a 12 x 14 ft living room?

A 12 x 14 ft room is 168 sq ft. With 10 percent added for cuts and breakage that is 185 sq ft, or 16 boxes at 11.62 sq ft each.

• Can NRC-302 go over radiant floor heating?

Yes. It is a glazed ceramic plank 9 to 9.5 mm thick, so it does not gap, cup or split as the floor warms, and it has no 80°F (27°C) surface limit the way engineered wood does.

• Is NRC-302 a good choice for a bathroom floor?

NRC-302 has a satin textured face, which suits dry rooms best. For a bathroom floor, pick a design with the Matt Texture finish, which gives more grip underfoot.
