5017

Rooms that face north or sit under a covered porch lose light fast, and a honey toned floor puts some of it back. 5017 reads like oiled pine or young oak, with a smooth satin surface that wipes clean and does not hold footprints. Five random faces spread the grain across a living room floor without an obvious repeat. The plank measures 6 x 36 inches in glazed ceramic at 9 to 9.5 mm, 8 to a carton for 11.62 sq ft and 22 kg. Light wood look tile hides crumbs better than white and works with white cabinets, green walls and terracotta accents.

• What comes in a box of 5017?

5017 comes in 6 x 36 inch planks, 8 to a box. One box covers 11.62 sq ft and weighs about 49 lb.

• How many boxes of 5017 do I need for a 12 x 14 ft living room?

A 12 x 14 ft room is 168 sq ft. With 10 percent added for cuts and breakage that is 185 sq ft, or 16 boxes at 11.62 sq ft each.

• Can 5017 go over radiant floor heating?

Yes. It is a glazed ceramic plank 9 to 9.5 mm thick, so it does not gap, cup or split as the floor warms, and it has no 80°F (27°C) surface limit the way engineered wood does.

• Is 5017 a good choice for a bathroom floor?

5017 has a smooth satin face, which suits dry rooms best. For a bathroom floor, pick a design with the Matt Texture finish, which gives more grip underfoot.
