D9-1507

Nine random faces is a lot for a 6 x 36 inch plank. Across an open floor that runs from the dining table to a patio door, the pattern effectively never repeats where you can see it. D9-1507 carries a honey gold tone with a satin surface that renders the grain as fine relief rather than a flat print. The body is glazed ceramic at 9 to 9.5 mm; a carton holds 8 planks for 11.62 sq ft and weighs 22 kg. Honey gold reads friendly in a kitchen or family room and sits comfortably against white and sage walls. It hides dust better than a white floor while still bouncing light.

• What comes in a box of D9-1507?

D9-1507 comes in 6 x 36 inch planks, 8 to a box. One box covers 11.62 sq ft and weighs about 49 lb.

• How many boxes of D9-1507 do I need for a 10 x 12 ft bedroom?

A 10 x 12 ft room is 120 sq ft. With 10 percent added for cuts and breakage that is 132 sq ft, or 12 boxes at 11.62 sq ft each.

• Can D9-1507 go over radiant floor heating?

Yes. It is a glazed ceramic plank 9 to 9.5 mm thick, so it does not gap, cup or split as the floor warms, and it has no 80°F (27°C) surface limit the way engineered wood does.

• What grout joint does D9-1507 need?

D9-1507 is a curve-edge plank, not rectified, so plan on a joint of 3 to 5 mm, about 1/8 to 3/16 inch. The wider joint gives each board its own line, the way real planks sit.
