Merrick Pine

Merrick Pine takes the yellow honey of pine board flooring, the kind found in farmhouses and older homes, and puts it on a matte textured tile. Five random faces per design, 6 x 36 inch planks in glazed ceramic at 9 to 9.5 mm, 8 to a carton for 11.62 sq ft and 22 kg. Unlike real pine it will not yellow with age or dent under a chair leg. The matte face has enough grip for a bathroom and stays quiet enough for a bedroom. As a farmhouse style wood look tile it belongs with painted furniture, linen and vintage pieces rather than high gloss cabinetry.

• How many boxes of Merrick Pine do I need for a 14 x 16 ft great room?

A 14 x 16 ft room is 224 sq ft. With 10 percent added for cuts and breakage that is 246 sq ft, or 22 boxes at 11.62 sq ft each.

• Can Merrick Pine go over radiant floor heating?
