NRC-201

NRC-201 is a dark coffee brown with a matte face you can clearly feel. Eleven random faces is high for a 6 x 36 inch plank, so a restaurant floor or a hotel corridor lays out with almost no visible repeat. The texture gives grip for entries and baths where floors get wet. Glazed ceramic at 9 to 9.5 mm, a carton of 8 covering 11.62 sq ft at 22 kg. Dark wood look tile hides scratches and daily traffic and reads calm against pale walls. NRC-201 works with white, brass and leather, and it makes a good wall behind a bar or a reception desk.

• How is NRC-201 sold?

NRC-201 comes in 6 x 36 inch planks, 8 to a box. One box covers 11.62 sq ft and weighs about 49 lb.

• How many boxes of NRC-201 do I need for a 14 x 16 ft great room?

A 14 x 16 ft room is 224 sq ft. With 10 percent added for cuts and breakage that is 246 sq ft, or 22 boxes at 11.62 sq ft each.

• Can NRC-201 go over radiant floor heating?

Yes. It is a glazed ceramic plank 9 to 9.5 mm thick, so it does not gap, cup or split as the floor warms, and it has no 80°F (27°C) surface limit the way engineered wood does.

• Is NRC-201 a good choice for a bathroom floor?

Yes. Its smooth satin face is the easiest of Metro's finishes to wipe down, the one to pick for bedrooms, living rooms and dry hallways.
