Oaklore Nero

Oaklore Nero is a black wood look tile where the grain stays tone on tone across a rustic texture face. Six random faces per design, 6 x 36 inch planks in glazed ceramic at 9 to 9.5 mm, a carton of 8 covering 11.62 sq ft at 22 kg. Black floors draw a clean edge against white walls and make light wood furniture and brass read brighter. In a living room with a fireplace, behind a bar, or on the wall behind a vanity, it is a deliberate move. A smooth black face shows dust sooner than a matte one but wipes off in seconds. Also made in 8 x 40, 8 x 48 and 8 x 56 inch planks.

• What comes in a box of Oaklore Nero?

• How many boxes of Oaklore Nero do I need for a 12 x 14 ft living room?

A 12 x 14 ft room is 168 sq ft. With 10 percent added for cuts and breakage that is 185 sq ft, or 16 boxes at 11.62 sq ft each.

• Can Oaklore Nero go over radiant floor heating?

Yes. It is a glazed ceramic plank 9 to 9.5 mm thick, so it does not gap, cup or split as the floor warms, and it has no 80°F (27°C) surface limit the way engineered wood does.

• Is Oaklore Nero a good choice for a bathroom floor?

Oaklore Nero has a rustic texture face, with a grain relief you can feel that adds grip underfoot. For a bathroom floor, pick a design with the Matt Texture finish, which gives more grip underfoot.
