Oaklore Cemento colors wood grain a soft cement gray, so it lands between a timber look and a concrete look. In this size the face is matte and textured rather than the smooth satin of the 6 x 36 inch version. Six random faces per design, 8 x 40 inch planks in glazed ceramic at 9 to 9.5 mm, a carton of 5 covering 10.76 sq ft at 20 kg. The matte surface has grip and returns no glare, which is why this is the version for a bathroom, an office or a shop where a shiny floor would be wrong. Gray wood look tile hides dust and works with most furniture. Also made in 6 x 36, 8 x 48 and 8 x 56 inch planks.

  Yes. It is a glazed ceramic plank 9 to 9.5 mm thick, so it does not gap, cup or split as the floor warms, and it has no 80°F (27°C) surface limit the way engineered wood does.

• What grout joint does Oaklore Cemento need?

  Oaklore Cemento is a curve-edge plank, not rectified, so plan on a joint of 3 to 5 mm, about 1/8 to 3/16 inch. The wider joint gives each board its own line, the way real planks sit.
