Oaklore Bianco

Oaklore Bianco in this size pairs the palest tone in the Oaklore range with the longest plank: 8 x 56 inches, matte textured, six random faces per design, glazed ceramic at 9 to 9.5 mm, 4 per carton for 12.05 sq ft and 24 kg. Both of those pull in the same direction, which is why this combination does more for a narrow hall or a dark basement than either would alone. The matte texture keeps grip and stops the white reading as a bathroom slab. It sits with pale walls, blond wood, linen and steel.

• How is Oaklore Bianco sold?

Oaklore Bianco comes in 8 x 56 inch planks, 4 to a box. One box covers 12.05 sq ft and weighs about 53 lb.

• How many boxes of Oaklore Bianco do I need for a 10 x 12 ft bedroom?

A 10 x 12 ft room is 120 sq ft. With 10 percent added for cuts and breakage that is 132 sq ft, or 11 boxes at 12.05 sq ft each.

• Can Oaklore Bianco go over radiant floor heating?

Yes. It is a glazed ceramic plank 9 to 9.5 mm thick, so it does not gap, cup or split as the floor warms, and it has no 80°F (27°C) surface limit the way engineered wood does.

• What grout joint does Oaklore Bianco need?

Oaklore Bianco is a curve-edge plank, not rectified, so plan on a joint of 3 to 5 mm, about 1/8 to 3/16 inch. The wider joint gives each board its own line, the way real planks sit.
