NR-142002

NR-142002 is a reddish merlot on a smooth satin face, six random faces per design. Planks are 8 x 56 inches in glazed ceramic at 9 to 9.5 mm, 4 to a carton for 12.05 sq ft and 24 kg. Red brown reads traditional, and on a 56 inch plank it reads like a wide board floor in an older house rather than a strip floor. That suits dining rooms, libraries and hotel rooms with dark furniture, cream walls and brass. The smooth glaze mops in one pass and takes no marks from chair legs, which is the practical reason to use it where people eat.

• How many square feet does a box of NR-142002 cover?

NR-142002 comes in 8 x 56 inch planks, 4 to a box. One box covers 12.05 sq ft and weighs about 53 lb.

• How many boxes of NR-142002 do I need for a 12 x 14 ft living room?

A 12 x 14 ft room is 168 sq ft. With 10 percent added for cuts and breakage that is 185 sq ft, or 16 boxes at 12.05 sq ft each.

• Can NR-142002 go over radiant floor heating?

Yes. It is a glazed ceramic plank 9 to 9.5 mm thick, so it does not gap, cup or split as the floor warms, and it has no 80°F (27°C) surface limit the way engineered wood does.

• Is NR-142002 a good choice for a bathroom floor?

NR-142002 has a smooth satin face, which suits dry rooms best. For a bathroom floor, pick a design with the Matt Texture finish, which gives more grip underfoot.
